Notice of proposed project

Dear PPCA Neighbors:
You may be interested in a planned development close to Plantation Point  at the corner of First Coast Hwy and Amelia Island Parkway. Below is a Jan 25th article from the Fernandina Observer covering the proposed project. As you can see the project is going before the Nassau County Planning and Zoning Board on Tuesday, February 1.  Another hearing is scheduled before the County Board on Monday, February 28. Since this will have a significant impact close to us, we thought you should be made aware, in case you want to get involved.

Action Requested:  FD21-001 is the final development plan for Parcel D-1 of the Summer Beach PUD, allowing for up to 7,000 square feet of commercial and office space and 15 multifamily residential units at the location described above.

The Nassau County Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on the application described above, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter, as the matter may be hard.  Following the public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Board will forward its recommendation to the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners.

The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County will hold a public hearing on this application on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter, as the matter may be heard.
