Pleased to report that all is good in Plantation Point! We dodged the bullet.
Did a drive around at 6 PM and no downed trees or house damage that I could see.
We never lost power.
Roads clear.
Bridges are open.
Still a few showers and some gusts but Dorian is getting out of here.
Drove around the island and more good news. All roads clear, saw no downed trees, and power looked OK everywhere. Also could see no dune sea incursion anywhere up to Atlantic Ave. Ocean still pretty angry but that is it.
Gate is back in operation.
There is a lot of Spanish Moss down and small stuff around but otherwise I think we are fine.
Tomorrow will be sunny and hot.
We are blessed!

Regarding cleanup, is Paul Manning going to haul away our piles or are we responsible for removing debris ourselves?
