Regarding:
Resurfacing of roads in Plantation Point.

To the Residents of Plantation Point;

I’m sure a lot of you feel as I do, that this project of sealing the road has gone pretty smooth.

I would like to share with you and congratulate our Board of Directors on a job well done.

As one who went through the last road re-surfacing this has gone smoothly. The organization and scheduling was well thought out from communicating with the vendors to having a golf cart available to deliver packages or pick up a neighbor coming home after dark.

The Board Members have taken turns manning the front gate, and Bob Allison and Steve Placido have dedicated their time for the whole week to be available and handle the responsibility of any concern.  They have not shirked or blamed another for any mishap, they have handled it!

I know this project started over a year ago in the planning, everyone of us had an opportunity to hear what was happening and take part in making it run smooth. I applaud all of you that contributed and took an interest in our community.

Steve Placido, your research in finding a contractor was relentless and it looks like you made a great choice. The final product, only time will tell. But this team has not waivered once in their commitment to be organized or be helpful. Every time I look up the road, they are hustling, not meandering!

So a huge Thank You to Steve Placido, Robert Allison and Charlie Sciarini for their commitment to our community, and to all the volunteers that took turns at the gate or other duties.

We are a great neighborhood.

FIRST CLASS JOB!

I’m sure a lot of our neighbors feel the same.

Thank You

People don’t realize the effort it took to take this needed project on. The hours of planning, all the second guessing, still they plodded through. We were here on the last fiasco. Thanks to the team for a job well done.

Agree with Tom completely. Let’s face it, this was a huge inconvenience for all of us, but the team stepped up and anticipated challenges, then gave of their own time to make sure we were bothered as little as possible. Nothing is perfect, but this was very, very good!
