A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for all Nassau-Amelia Utilities customers until further notice.
Nassau-Amelia Utilities experienced a loss of pressure due to a power outage during a weekly generator testing. High Rise Structures at Amelia Island Plantation are not affected.
Please boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, and brushing teeth. This advisory will remain in effect until bacteriological samples reflect a negative result for coliforms.
Please continue to boil your water until you are notified the advisory has been lifted.

This may go on for a couple of days. Latest email from Nassau-Amelia Utilities includes:
“The boil water advisory will remain in effect until bacteriological samples are collected and analyzed to
reflect a negative result for coliforms. We are estimating that the results will be back after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24th. After completion of this process, a notice will be issued to rescind the boil water advisory.”
