Hurricane Idalia
Greetings neighbors:
No secret to anyone that this storm will effect our island as either a tropical storm or Cat 1 hurricane. Things will change as the storm moves our way, so keep in touch with your weather source.
For most residents this is not your first rodeo, so you know the drill. Batten down any outside things that could become projectiles in high winds or move into your garage. Keep your eye out for any senior citizens that may need assistance. We are the best community where neighbors look out for neighbors.
If you plan on leaving please text Charlie Sciarini 904-521-6838 to let him know that you are leaving.
We have Paul Manning on standby in case we need some tree/debris clearing. PPCA has always been first on his list to cover, which has been very important in past weather events.
if you are not here and want your home checked please let me know and we will get someone on it. We will also do a neighborhood check after the storm passes for any home damage.
Stay safe and hopefully this will not be a major event. We will let everyone know if we require a special clean up program after the storm passes.
