Storm Sewer video inspection

All,

We are in the process of preparing for Florida Pipe Tech to conduct a video inspection of our storm sewers sometime in the next few weeks. This should have limited impact on most of you with the exception of having contractors trucks parked at various locations around our subdivision for a few days.

For some of you we will be access the manholes in right-of-ways that are located on your property lines. At these locations we will be removing sod and topsoil to gain access to the manhole covers. Our plan is to prep these areas by cutting the sod prior to the contractor mobilizing to the site. Just prior to mobilization we will remove the sod and place it temporarily on tarps so we can replace it after the inspection is done.

Affected properties include the following lots:

HPT between lots 67 & 68
HPT between lots 7 & 8
HPT between lots 25 & 26
HPT in back of Lot 22

We will be placing flagging in the ground on top of all manholes in the next few days. More information on the location of our manholes can be viewed on our website under the “members” tab, click on “before you dig” to view as-builds of the system.

You also may notice that a temporary water meter has been installed on the fire hydrant located at the end of Plantation Point Drive near the intersection with Mission San Carlos Drive. This will be used, if needed, to fill a water truck equipped with a jetting hose, that can be used to clear sewers of debris so the camera can pass thru the pipe.

We will send out another notice when we have an actual mobilization date.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Regards,

Larry Rogers
