We received sad news this week that long time resident of Plantation Point Charles Sweat had passed away the last week in September. Charles and his wife Cotton were a beloved couple for many years in the neighborhood. They had moved south a few years ago and had returned to Amelia Island residing at Osprey Village. A memorial service will be held for Charles at the Amelia Island Chapel, tomorrow Thursday Oct 7th at 2:00 PM. He was a great man and wonderful neighbor. Our condolences to the Sweat family and his wife Cotton. May he RIP!
