Front Gate Crash – May 18, 2019

As most of you know our front gate was crashed again on Saturday afternoon. The gate was broken by local emergency vehicles responding to an incident on Harrison Point Trail.
The gate arm was repaired and reinstalled Sunday.
This was the second crash this year, with the first caused by FEDEX truck which we are still investigating for compensation.
The repair both times involved trimming off the end, drilling new holes and reinstalling the arm. The entrance gate is now about two feet shorter for those that might notice.
Hats off to Chris Whelpley  and Tim Gallagher for their good skills and  help on the cutting and drilling arm repair work.
These new gate arms delivered are about $300 each so we were able to dodge this cost.
We were lucky on both of these, as the break was clean and the arm not run over as often happens requiring a new arm.
What’s so hard about #0000 or not “tail gating” – can’t answer that one?
Thanks
Bob Allison
