Plantation Point Welcomes New Neighbors:

Plantation Point has a lot of new faces over the last several months as we have seen a record number of homes turn over. Lets extend a BIG WELCOME to the following new neighbors and great to have you in our beautiful community.

Michael and Krestin Biagini – 1224 HPT (lot 21) have been busy with a major remodel and no strangers to Amelia Island having lived here for several years. Krestin has a design business and Michael works in software implementation. Krestin has done some notable projects on island including Amelia Island Tavern and a new project “POGO’s” across the street where the old Gourmet Gourmet used to be. They have two girls Mary Francis (12) and Katie (9), and two dogs, Bella and Fenway, Do ya think they might be BOSOX fans?

Mark and Lora Frankenberg are no strangers to Plantation Point having lived here at 1367 MSC (lot 31) for three years. They appreciated the quiet and friendly environment so much they purchased the home in May. Lora can be seen riding her bike around the neighborhood almost any morning and Mark is likely to be found working in the yard.

Craig and Gina Fricke have moved into 1391 MSC (lot 37) and hail from Virginia. They have two kids Taylor (17), and Dylan (14), and two Beagles – Putters and Moe. Craig works in the financial services market for Dun & Bradstreet.

Michael and Diane Pagnotti have purchased the property at 1386 MSC (lot 36) and are in the process of updating and moving in by Mid September from their condominium at the Colony and from their primary residence in Lake Mary Florida. Mike is a retired (Civil) Transportation Systems Engineer and Diane a retired Art Teacher.  They have two children but no grandchildren yet. Their rescue dog Maxine is 5 years old and sleeps where she wants to.

Mike and Amy Wagner have purchased and are busy remodeling 1388 MSC (lot 72). Mike and Amy have lived on the island for years and have two kids Gabrielle (8) and Grace (6) and two dogs Jasper & Maxel. Mike is an independent travel industry consultant previously with Omni Hotels, and Amy is an attorney for TIAA.

Steve & Patti Millage have purchased 1368 PPD (lot 57) the end of July and are

scheduled to move in the second half of September and have a few update projects planned. They are moving from Portland, Oregon area where they have lived for the last 15 years. Steve is retired (3 years) as a regional sales manager for ITW. Patti is recently retired (4 months) and worked as a data analyst for a public school district. They have one adult daughter at the beginning of her career living in California. Steve is originally from Illinois (Charleston & Chicago area) and Patti grew up in the Hudson Valley (Poughkeepsie) in New York. Steve is looking forward to year round golf and both are looking forward to enjoying all that Amelia Island has to offer.

Unofficial census would indicate the following:

  • Our average age is dropping
  • We have doubled the number of kids
  • Added six new doggies
  • Chuck Sciarini commented that we have also increased our Italian American population – and he likes that!

New residents always bring new energy to the community with updated properties, new ideas and new people to enjoy. A sincere welcome to you all and whatever we can do to make your transition easier – please let us know.

On behalf of all of us in Planation Point,

Bob Allison
